"We have had three of our children attend and graduate from WMA. The standards here are set very high, and all three children left WMA being far advanced than other children their age. WMA has a caring and dedicated staff who really care about not only the education of children, but developing excellent social/life skills, and teaching respect for others. Our children, as well as us parents, truly felt like part of a big family in this school. We would recommend WMA to anyone who was serious about their child's education. This is by far the best Montessori school we have come across!"
"Westbrook Montessori Academy provides a very direct and focused framework for understanding the principles of Montessori curriculum, which is unlike any other in the industry. The focus while using Maria Montessori's guidelines ensures that each child is allowed to blossom to the best of their ability. There is a perfect harmony of education and socialization at Westbrook. The staff focuses the learning through the eyes of the child. This enhances learning and motivates each child to put forth their full competency. Keep up the great work!"
"Westbrook Montessori Academy is a school that not only excels in academics but in overall guidance of the children. I believe that you have hired teachers that truly care about children, know how to discipline, teach, guide and relate to children. My boys have had an amazing success at Westbrook, and working so diligently to achieve it. They succeeded as students, being challenged, being educated, being involved and being recognized. Mr Riz, you have set them up for life and I truly believe that it is because of the school they will always excel in life and no mater where ever they go. "
"We would like to express our sincerest gratitude to everyone at WMA. Jaritt has had such an amazing experience what a way to start her education! It was not easy to send our first and only child to school but we immediately felt comfortable and quickly felt at home. You know things are good when your child wants to stay for the after school program willingly, and so I've been told lunch was sometimes better than dinner!
You've helped build the foundation for academic achievement. You should be congratulated for the innovative lessons provided. Jaritt is already reading at a grade 3 level and her math skills are so impressive. Jaritt loved learning about different cultures and really enjoyed the teaching on life cycles.
The friendships that have been developed, and the love and care provided from everyone at WMA will be more than just memories. They have helped create the person she is today and who she will become in the future. I couldn't be more proud!
I am sorry that our time at Westbrook Montessori has come to an end-I can't believe she is graduating and grade 1 is only a few months away!
From the bottom of our hearts thank you everyone for such an amazing experience-you've helped us all grow!"
"Time has gone by so quickly with this year being Juliana's last year at Westbrook. She has grown so much from her early beginnings in the toddler class to her final year in the casa program. It is in the final year where we see Juliana has changed the most. Her independent thinking has certainly began to show and will take her to her new beginnings in elementary school. The teachers were great and we appreciate all of their hard work. Much success in future years."
"At the end of this school year, we, Raymond Gu's father and mother, want to thank you for all the work you did to help Raymond through the last four years.
We still remember the first day Raymond came to school. He was so attracted by the materials and didn't notice that we left quietly. When we came back in the afternoon, there were tears still in his eyes and he was playing in the teacher's arms. That was the first day Raymond left us for so long, and the first day of his school experience.
Raymond is now happy to go to school every day. He enjoys reading, spelling, counting, writing, drawing, singing, dancing and playing school is so fun. The teachers are so kind. He has learned the skills required in his daily life. He has become more knowledgeable of the world around him. He has been taught how to behave, how to help, how to be a team player, which will help him his whole life. Even our friends were surprised that he has the knowledge of grade one or two.
We had such a good experience with Westbrook Montessori and cannot thank Mr. Riz and the teachers enough."
We believe that all children possess an innate ability to learn.
